WTF Are Chakras & How To Harness Their Sexual Power

chakras blog sex with emily“Chakras” seem to be a bit of a buzzword these days. But do you know what it means?

In this blog, I’m going to break down what chakras really are. In addition, I’ll also be teaching you all about how to use the energy of each chakra to improve your sex life.

This blog will be super helpful to anyone wanting to balance and connect more deeply with their sensual energy, regardless of if you’re in a relationship or not.

So, WTF are chakras?

The term “chakra” is a Sanskrit word, which roughly translates to “wheel” or “circle”. The concept of chakras is an ancient one, that perhaps may even predate written traditions. When learning about chakras, it’s very important to remember that this concept has had many thousands of translations over the years. Therefore, whether they realize it or not, every single person who’s ever written or spoken about them, myself included, have their own definition. One which is based on their training, experience, and personal interpretation.

Above all, chakras are spinning energy centers of the physical, energetic, and emotional body. The most common chakra system discussed in the west is Muladhara, which is a seven-chakra system. However, there are countless other systems, with their own unique colors, symbols, meanings, etc. Interestingly, the different systems identify anywhere from five to 114 chakras.

The chakra system has thousands of complicated channels and nadis (points), which have been “mapped” out through tantric traditions. Not to mention the arguments as to where exactly the channels and chakras are located in the energetic body.

The Muladhara System

Because of this, I’ll mainly be discussing the Muladhara system in this blog, as it’s the one most people will be familiar with. In Muladhara, it is believed there are 7 chakras, each located at significant locations in the energetic body. They are thought to be arranged in a vertical line from the base of the spine to the top of the head. Each chakra has a specific color, shape, name, and location. Additionally, each chakra governs a portion of our energetic being, and affects our physical, emotional, and energetic wellbeing.

So know you know all that, let’s look at each of these chakras, and how the power can be harnessed to improve your sex life and connection to your sensual energy.
