As you’re going through your holiday shopping list, it’s inevitable that you would come across at least one couple. I know I get excited when my friends and family members are in relationships during the holiday season because that’s one less gift I have to buy.
Gifting a shared item to a couple is one of the oldest tricks in the book. It’s the same trick we all pull when someone’s birthday happens to be in December or falls right around graduation or anniversary time. Or maybe you’re in a relationship and think “Hey, If I’m buying something for them it might as well be something I can use too.” But being a serial monogamist myself, I have unwrapped my fair share of bath towels, fruit baskets and picture frames on Christmas morning and I can attest to the fact that most “couple presents” are downright BLAND.
