Another hard day at work for the Sex With Emily team… Emily and Producer Madison demonstrate Sportsheets’ amazing G-Spot Link, with a little guidance from CEO and founder Tom Stewart. Continue Reading
We, as adults, are all about long-term investments. We invest in a relationship that we believe will go the distance. We invest in our 401k, we invest in our dream homes and our dream cars. And yet, we never think to invest in one of the most vital aspects of our relationship – our dream sex life. We focus so intently on the other pieces of the puzzle, and let sex just fade into the background without even realizing how important it really is. Continue Reading
Finding a match these days can feel like finding a needle in a haystack, especially when you think about the fact that there are over 7 billion people on the planet. But instead of letting that overwhelm you, I like to think of all the potential.
Every time you leave your house, there’s a possibility of meeting your next great love (or next great hookup). It could happen at your local coffee shop, the dog park, a new cafe you’ve been wanting to try… Still, with all the possibilities for “meeting cute”, there are some people you may run into that should forever remain OFF the menu. Now that we’ve officially hit the holiday home-stretch, you’re probably feeling the full weight of the season on your shoulders. No matter how proactive we were with our planning and shopping this year, there will always be those last-minute gifts to grab, final traveling arrangements to make, and a whole lot of holiday cheer to cram into the next few days. Just thinking about it makes me want to take a nice long nap!
To think, back when we were kids our biggest complaint was that we HAD to go to bed on exciting holiday nights. Nowadays, many of us would trade every present under the tree (if you’re into that sort of thing) for a good night’s sleep… Not to mention a good night of, well, you know. Continue Reading
The holiday season is now upon us, and with it comes that inevitable heaping of holiday madness. What was once the most wonderful time of year has now become the most draining, between the parties and the gifting and the time spent with extended family. And despite what Hallmark would have us believe, the holidays are not so hot for our personal lives, either.
In the past year, I have been on a mission to have regular orgasms and since I’m currently single, this has been mostly a solo mission. I’ve been taking all of your advice: I’ve got the sex toys and the lube, I know where all my hot spots are and I know how to touch them, but I’m still only orgasming a third of the time. It’s so frustrating! Sometimes I will be right on the cusp of climaxing, but for some reason I just can’t get all the way there. What am I missing here? Help!
Ah, the holidays. We are all conditioned to believe this is the most wonderful time of the year and sure, it has its moments. But if you just so happen to be single, the holidays might take on an entirely new meaning.
Every song, every commercial, and every movie on basic cable paints a picture of the holidays being a time to celebrate with your significant other, leaving uncoupled folks everywhere wondering “What about me? Where’s my holiday happy ending?”
The further we get into November, the more I am reminded of why I love this time of year so much. No, it’s not the descent into deliciously chilly fall weather (it was 87 degrees in LA today). It’s not the arrival of all-you-can-listen-to Michael Bublé Christmas covers. And it’s definitely not the non-denominational, but oh-so-controversial, holiday cups at Starbucks.
No, the reason I adore this month above all others has more to do with the upcoming holiday—or more specifically, what that holiday represents. Continue Reading
I am happy to announce that I have finally found THE ONE. I have to admit, it was rough going for a while. After my rocky history of incompatible pairings and utter disappointments, I often wondered if I would ever find my match, my perfect fit, the one that could keep up with my busy lifestyle and still make me feel happy and safe. I was sick of putting myself out there, time and time again, always starting off so full of hope, but ending up left with a roller coaster of emotions, physical pain and even the occasional rash.
But all of that is behind me now, because I am 2 years into the most successful relationship I have ever been in. We had a few bumps along the way, but I have never felt so safe, so free or so sure of anything in my life. No, I am not talking about my boyfriend (although he and I are doing great, thanks for asking!) I am talking about my current form of birth control. Continue Reading
